Where can I wear ladies fascinators?

If you’re based in Australia, when we think about fascinators we probably believe that they’re only really worn for Melbourne Cup… aren’t they?

Last week I decided to investigate using Dr.Google and guess what? I found that there are 10 main horse racing carnivals across Australia each year with more than 50 race events between August to July alone. I couldn’t believe that there was this whole other world of racing just waiting for a chance to be frocked up and partied at. Plus during Spring Racing Carnival there’s Derby Day which is a black and white themed day and Oak’s Day which is a special day for the ladies. I also soon learned that most race clubs across the country hold Ladies Days with Myer Fashion on the Fields. Which means that you can try to cash in on some hot prizes for looking good. If you are based in regional Australia, then you are not forgotten. Country Cups are held literally all over the country with great competition for a sash at one of the Country Cups events.  Look at each racing event for the FOTF entry information.

There are so many endless opportunities for a fun day out to have a flutter, dress up, wear some stunning headwear and drink a few glasses of bubbles with your friends.

Fascinator high tea Melbourne

As I dug deeper by spending hours and hours on Instagram and using up all of my data, I found that there are loads of other special occasions such as High Teas, Weddings, Formals, Vintage, Morning Tea, Afternoon Tea, Day Wear, Bridesmaid, Hens, Baby Showers, Mother of the Bride, Date Night, Formals, Proms, Galas and Wedding Guests to wear a gorgeous headband, headpiece, hat or fascinator. Which is good news really because it means that you can wear your headpiece more than once and get great use out of it.
